It is a little over a fortnight since we last sent out a newsletter detailing how we were actively and continuously monitoring this developing situation. As events have continued to unfold, we thought it was right to let you know about some of the measures we are taking to manage our business through these uncertain times:
The following practices are in place:
– Anyone with the symptoms of a cough and high temperature, or in the same household as someone displaying these symptoms are asked to self-isolate for 14 days from immediate effect.
– All but essential travel limited/cancelled. This includes taking our Regional Sales Managers off the road and redeploying them to provide support in business critical departments.
– Restricting gatherings of large groups of colleagues and curtailing movement between departments.
– Routine deep cleans of communal eating areas and facilities.
– Equipping personnel to work from home where practicable, thus reducing the number of people in our offices.
– Cleaning routines in place in all departments and cleaning stations available at key entrances to the company.
– High Speed IT connections throughout the business linking everyone remotely any time of the day.
These changes will not affect the day to day running of the business, all personnel and departments are contactable either by telephone or email, and our goal is to ensure business continuity. These are unprecedented circumstances, but we aim to manage our production schedule accordingly. So far, production is continuing as normal, despite unprecedented levels of demand. The Directors review the situation on a day by day basis, and any updates will continue to be communicated via our website/e-newsletter.
