In partnership with Hainsworth Coffins, we are pleased to offer our Natural Legacy Range of woollen coffins. Independently tested and accredited for strength and weight bearing, the Hainsworth Woollen Coffin's unique design combines the highest environmental standards with an attractive and soft feel. Designed to differ from the traditional wooden coffin, it offers a contemporary style with comfortable handling. The concept is completed with a personalised embroidered woollen name plate. All the materials used in the Hainsworth Woollen coffins are readily biodegradable and suitable for cremation and all types of burial. 

Our Environment

Wool coffins are of truly green lineage, being natural, sustainable and biodegradable, and the wool is carefully selected to meet the Global Organic Textile Standard for sustainability.  Recycled cardboard is used and all the materials are readily biodegradable.  As the coffins are manufactured in Yorkshire, the distribution costs are minimised and there is the added benefit of boosting a local economy in a traditional manufacturing sector.
