15.02.10: Atkinson’s launch new tube shaped picture trestles

Building on the success of their Reflections range of picture coffins, Washington based JC Atkinson has launched new tube shaped trestles, which allow a Reflections picture coffin design to be replicated on the supporting trestle.

Made from cardboard with wooden plinths at each end, the trestles are reusable and fit snugly inside one another for easy storage. The graphics are designed in house, then transferred onto a paper sheet which wraps round the trestle and can also be detached and reused.

Whatever the design chosen for the Reflections coffin, whether it be a Highlands scene, a poppy field or perhaps a bespoke design, matching graphics can now also be displayed on the trestles. Another application is in the showroom, where Funeral Directors could use their own corporate livery and logo in the design shown on the trestle.

Managing Director Julian Atkinson commented...

"This was a natural progression for us. We wanted to find a practical way of supporting the Reflections Coffin, but we wanted to do it in such a way that would enhance its appearance, with the design equally effective when viewed from different angles. Another big advantage of the new trestles is that both they and the sheet of graphics which wrap around them are reusable.”
